I am selling my RNS-510 E prototype/test unit. I purchased this off eBay and it is a great unit. Everything works perfectly EXCEPT travel link.

TRAVEL LINK cannot be used on this unit. NO WAY NO HOW

It also has a smaller HD leaving 18.5 GB usable.

Besides that everything else works perfectly. I will be switching this one out in the next few days for a fully functional one.

On engaging reverse there is a symbol to switch from OPS to camera, once pressed you get the message safety message but no picture.

Checked all the wiring all Ok
tested with a Columbus and it works fine

I know the Amundsen+ (RNS315) does support a camera in VW guise

Im planning to buy a VW Polo 6R from '10. Now if i buy this car (im thinking of either a 5 door or 3 door), im planning to instal the following accessoires.
A RNS 510 P 2013 version
a rear view camera like a golf 6 under the VW logo
PDC whit OPS front and rear.
front foglight whit dlr (not sure yet, cant find a complete kit )

1. After installing the RNS315 the camera no longer appears when I out the car into reverse and I also don't get the park assist screen until I put it back into drive.

2. When I press th ephone button, I do not get a phone menu or settings it just mutes the music that is playing. I have installed a mic in the overhead light and connected it in the quadlock.

3. How do you find out what version firmware the unit has?

It all worked well for a long time... I have a Kufatec Fiscon Bluetooth Hands-free kit installed with an RNS-510 on a Passat Variant TDI 2006 (3C).
It all worked well for a long time after it was fitted.
But suddenly one day it all changed.
1- The RNS-510 developed a battery-drain issue
2- The Fiscon Bluetooth stopped communicating to the car and to the RNS-510 and the Phone button on the RNS-510 only mutes the radio now

I can still see the KUFATEC FISCON Bluetooth device if I search for Bluetooth devices on my phone.

Note that the OEM Bluetooth hands-free that the car is factory-fitted with has always been and still is disabled (fuse and cable both removed).

First of all, I am not sure if this question belongs to this forum, but I hope you guys can shed some light to this problem that I have. To start, I have a 2007 pre-fl Octavia RS and I have retrofitted Columbus and Maxidot. I don't have Multifunction steering wheel. Part number for the columbus unit is:

3T0 035 680 B
HW 11
SW 4120

When installing the columbus I updated my can gateway to a newer version 1K0 907 530 L, so I wouldn't have the battery drainage issue. Coded the columbus to gateway as well so it will show the data on the maxidot. I applied Josi's fix for Skoda Octavia A5 - fix for 3xxx/4xxx software also. Before Josi's fix I would get stuck on Audio and Navigation on the maxi dot i.e. I'd have to shut down columbus in order to get back to the main menu where I can choose from MFD, Audio, Navigation, and Setup. After applying the fix I can get back to the main menu normally by pressing the up or down button on the wiper stalk.

Now my problem is that when I access the Audio menu I can't change the track or radio station by pressing on the wiper stalk button, nothing happens. It should change it but mine does nothing. Has anyone else had this same problem?
