MFD2 in R32?
Hi all! New to the forums, but I've had my R32 for about 14 months...looking to put a navi system with the least amount of hassle, so I come looking for help...
From what i can tell here in the forums, the MFD2 from the Toureag WILL work in my 2004 R32, and is plug-n-play...BUT, it is physically the wrong size to fit in the dash...
My question: Will the MFD2 that is in the new Mk5 Jetta/Golf fit better? In the pictures, it looks to be smaller width-wise, plus it is tapered slightly at the bottom...
Looks like it MAY fit in a Mk4 Golf, but would need some trim around the outside edge to fill it in...also, is the MFD screwed in behind the dash trim? I have never taken out my Monsoon double-din, but i believe it snaps in on the sides of the radio cage...
Thanks,
CK
