Hi all,

I've got an MFD (not sure which version D or G but suspect D) in my Ford Galaxy 2001 - factory fitted.

After years of faithful service it went on the blink. No satellites seen, so following a good dig around on here for help, I bought a horse-pill GPS antenna.

I've plugged the antenna in - haven't yet workd out how to get it under the dash - and it can now see satellites and get a fix.

However, it updates very slowly, and the car is shown at a really strange orientation relative to the road.

My questions are:
1) does it matter which way round the antenna is fitted? I can't believe this
will make a difference but I'm prepared to be surprised!

2) The tyre is set to something like 1955mm circumference and the pulse to 48. Is it using gala wire or ABS and is there any chance the 'other end' of the wire has come loose? If so, where is it?

I'd appreciate any advice.

Matt
