Anyone know why when driving along the sat nav (MFD version D) wonders completely off road, i have read about how the nav is slightly behind, but mine seems to get stuck every now and end then or most of the time, then suddenely springs back to life and trys to follow me again.


but then stops moving and when it does find me it takes the wrong turning.

So i can assume either its losing the gala signal so therefore doesnt know i am moving, and also i wondered could it be a bad cd????? , i am planning to go the other option and feed the signal from the ABS instead so will let you know what i find just wondered if anybody elses unit wonders miles off.

Overall i wouldnt buy an OEM VW unit again as its a lot of hassle, well it is for the VW Sharan 04 onwards as far as i can see maybe i need to work harder on it!


please tell me how your navi works in relation to turning and wondereing off the map.
