Hi everybody and sorry for my English. I'm new member in the forum, as i recenntly discover it and really don't want to disturb, but since i've search almost all the relative posts, i didn't find any answer, so here is my question.
I've a Tiguan 1.4 Escape model MY 2008, delivered to me in June 18th 2008. My Tigi is equipped with factory Premium BT, factory shark-wing type external antenna, factory Park Assist, factory alarm, cruise control, bi xenon lights and RCD 300. Recently, I've decided to purchase one of the new versions of RNS 510 from ebay, with the factory optical display of Park Assist, but i'm confused if i should go on with the purchase, as no one can advice me for sure, if there would be problems or not in the installation and co operation between RNS 510, MFD display, Premium BT and Park assist. I ask at my WV dealer, but unfortunately they weren't sure either. They told me, they thought, that RNS 510, might not work and co operate properly with all the above accessories, as the cables and adapters in my MY 2008 Tiguan model, are different from the ones in MY 2009 Tiguan models and that i won't be able to code them properly together, using VAG COM and that wil be a lot of faults signals in VAG COM. As you understand, i'm in quite a dilemma here, as so far, now one can assure me of the smooth co operation and functionality between Premium BT, Park assist, MFD screen and RNS 510 and whats more the price of RNS 510 is very high, to allow any mistakes to be made. So please, if anyone can, advice me of what to do and above all if eventually the above accessories will work fine with RNS 510. Also please, if anyone knows inform me of the proper VAG COM coding that i must do and how to do it, to make all of them be functional with RNS 510. I'll be gratefull if anyone of you can guide me in this mess i'm into and give me a solid piece of advice.
