I need some advice please....

I have an Octavia II Facelift with Maxidot and a OEM Bluetooth unit 729D type (not fitted yet). I would like to fit a Columbus but my preferred supplier only has a 3T0 unit at the moment. He tells me that his 3T0 version is reprogrammed for an Octavia II so it works the same as a 1Z0 version. Am I better off waiting until I can get an 1Z0 unit or will a 3T0 version work with the Maxidot and Bluetooth?

Any advice & comments appreciated...
