2010 jetta with touchscreen radio upgradable for navigation?
Ok everyone bear with me here because I am a complete newb.
We recently bought a 2010 jetta for my girlfriend. one of the primary things we were looking for was navigation.
we bought on with the touchscreen radio, and the dealer told us they would install a navigation for us, but would require the entire unit to be replaced.
so a week later she brought the car in, and they installed a completely different "rosen" navigation which is a complete peace of crap.
now I am contacting the dealer about this. Is the original touchscreen radio upgradable to navigation? or does it require a complete different sytem? To me it seemed like the original touchscreen radio would just need an add on module or something of the sort
the dealer is telling me that the factory navigation can only be installed in the factory, which I have gathered is a complete load of crap.
thanks everyone for your help in advance. and I apologize in advance if I posted this in the wrong section, as I do not know the reference for the factory touchscreen radio
