I just got my 2009 Touran with the RNS 510, multifunctional steering wheel, and the phone preperation.

The phone sould be connected to the car system through Bluetooth. The surprise was huge when finding a phone bracket fitted on my dash board!

When I search for the bluetooth reciever in the car - following the instructions in the manual 3 different phones do not find the VW UHV device (the Bluetooth transmitter in the car)

The VW dealer tells me the cridle must be in place in order for this to work. IS REALLY THIS TRUE??? Bluetooth is a radio transmission device, and should have no needs for any cabel connectoin to the phone. What could I be missing?

There are also two different products available in Norway in regards to phone praparation. The two PR-numbers are 9W8 and 9ZU. The first is mentioned as "Phone preperation PREMIUM with Bluetooth and must be combined with the multi function steering wheel. The latter is also mentioned as PREMIUM in one dealers pricelist (same description as the 9W8 above.

Which one of these are the correct PR number for the PREMIUM kit?
And MUST there be a cridle mounted on the dash for Bluetooth to work??

Help my confusion -- please!
