This question is for those who are in the know about the technical side of the VW Version B TV Tuner. I have recently installed a Vers B tuner with 4 seperate Nevcox Aerials and amps plugged directly into the four smb sockets on the tuner. Performance is good but patchy. I have just come across a site which shows a guy giving a step by step guide to installing a Vers B TV Tuner in an Audi A4 at site http://www.tvwiz.net/navigation/tv.html. In this guide he uses a seperate Diversity Swiching unit between the TV Tuner and the Aerials. A photo of this unit and part no are there to see on the site. So he wires the four Aerials to the Diversity Switchers 4 Inputs and then From the Diversity Switchers 4 outputs to the four sockets on the TV Tuner. The purpose of this unit is it selects the best aerials pickup and routes only that to the Tuner. The question is will fitting one of these Diversity Switchers in line improve picture rather than having the Aerials plugged straight into the back of the tuner as i have now. Or does the Version B unit perform this task itself internally? I would greatly appreciate any advise on this matter. Many Thanks PB5
