Sorry I forgot to update this thread:

The amp seems to have been in some sort of coma.
I didn't change the coding, I just queried the amp in vcds for fault codes and it seems to have woken it from its slumber. Weird.
Anyway glad it's working just annoying it didn't work straight away.

Idiot meter was well within acceptable limits, just never seen this setup before
