Hi,
I just want to check if anyone knows whether the pinouts on the 54 pin connector for the Canbus 2.0 RVC controller (7L6-907-441B) are the same as those for the Canbus 1.6 RVC controller(7L6-907-441).
If they are different - can someone post me the new pinouts for the "B" version?

Also, for those who have got the "B" version working with an RNS510 over a canbus 1.6 with canbus 1.6 to 2.0 adapter - can you tell me what I am doing wrong below:

1. Instrument cluster at sw version 3135 (taken from the VAG info on the "Component" line - or should I look elsewhere?)
2. RVC controller coded to 00000001
3. Bit 6 in Byte 3 of RNS510 long coding set to "on" for reverse camera

Tried connecting the RVC canbus lines to the 1.6 canbus or to the back of the RNS510 on the canbus 2.0 side. (I am using the existing wiring harness from the RVC to the rear of the RNS510 (having repinned the connector at the RNS510 end to a new 24 pin connector).
Does not work in either case.
If I unplug the RVC connector, I get an error message on the RNS510 saying:

" Rear View Camera system is not available at present CANCEL"

What am I doing wrong?
Note, the VIDEO button on my RNS510 is 'greyed out' - does this mean anything?

All help appreciated. This is frustrating - and may result in an RVC being for sale soon!!!!!
