Illegal Firmware, Software & Map Links

Hello VW navi enthusiasts. I have assumed in the past that it is not necessary to make much noise about postings related to illegal content and downloads, figuring the passive warnings we have around the site were sufficient.
However, lately we have seen a large numbers of users posting links to content that violates anti-piracy laws of Phillips, Continental, NavTeq and/or Volkswagen. To confirm for everyone once more, posting content of this nature is against the forum rules and

With the expectation (hope?) that this will be the first of many posts by many users in this blog, I wanted to take some time and lay down some ground rules that will hopefully keep the overall content constructive and relevant!
There are really only two big ones:
1. ALL users are able to create blogs, but Peter Parker's uncle reminds us that "with great power comes great responsibility." Please work to make content well thought out and relevant to the community.
